My name is Dale Marriott; I am the program Chair for the Electronics Department and Interim Chair for Criminal Justice. I have been with ITT Technical Institution since 2007. 

I started as an Adjunct Instructor, Registrar, and currently the Department Chair. My ultimate mission is student success; education should be enjoyable, stimulating, and challenging. 

If a student applies themselves in the right environment they will succeed. 

My goal is to create this environment; it is now up to the student to apply themselves.

In regards to my goal I would like to quote Plato, which is one of the world’s most influential philosophers:

“People are like dirt. They can either nourish you and help you grow as a person or they can stunt your growth and make you wilt and die.”

I believe that this is the same with education, as an educator it is my duty to deliver the best education and experience that my resources have to offer.
